We Are Hype, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Jacksonville, dedicated to promoting and supporting youth development in the areas of sports, education, and life skills. We strive to empower young people to achieve their full potential by providing them with opportunities for growth, learning, and community engagement. Through our various programs and initiatives, we aim to foster positive attitudes, build self-confidence, and inspire leadership in our youth. We believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed and we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people in our community.

The mission of We are HYPE is to support youth academic, athletic, and leadership development in a safe and secure environment while being inclusive and accessible to under-resourced communities

Our goal is to instill our 6 Core values of honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership into the youth, the parents, the grandparents, and the schools in our community.

 Story Behind We Are HYPE

In 2017, during a visit to Wesconnett Park on the Westside of Jacksonville, Florida our founder received the vision of what our organization is becoming. He no longer wanted to stand by and witness young people getting overlooked and left out. We Are HYPE was started with the desire to help young people everywhere have a positive outlet and resources to improve their quality of life. Whether that is athletics, tutoring, fun, friends, or personal development, we want to be there for them. We desire to be a one-stop shop for young people to have access to many resources that will help them develop life skills. This will allow them to take on the real world with confidence. We have a desire to assist young people with college placement, college preparation, athletic development and competition, tutoring, and financial literacy education. We want to provide a safe haven for young people to go after school, during the summer, and whenever the doors are open to be themselves without a worry of judgment or expectation.
